Privacy policy

Short version: your images stay on your device. PixelResize has no accounts and does not keep your photos.

Images

Cropping, resizing, rotating, adjustments and format conversion run locally in your web browser using the HTML5 canvas. Your images are only sent to our server in two cases:

• You switch Processing to On server, or your browser can't encode the format you chose.
• You use Open from URL, where our server downloads the image for you.

In both cases the image is held in a temporary file only while the request is processed, then deleted. It is never logged, shared or used for anything else.

Local storage

We save your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. That is the only thing we store.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits. Google may set a cookie and receive your IP address and pages you open. There are no ads and no other third-party scripts.
